Free Prenatal Classes are run through the public health department at the Peace River Community Health Care Center. Classes run every 3 months and may be online or in person. Please call 780-624-7260 or visit the website below to register.

 

There are are also online prenatal classes available through Birth and Babies that are accredited by Alberta Health Services. The classes are virtual and interactive - you will get to know a group of parents at around the same stage of pregnancy. There are many times and dates available to choose from. Many of these classes are free (eg. healthy lifestyle, early pregnancy, all the nutrition classes for pregnancy and baby feeding, classes for teenage parents). A few classes charge an enrolment fee (Pregnancy, Preparing for Baby).
